Miles Away reissued Lamont Butler's acclaimed album It's Time For A Change back in 2020, much to the delight of funk and soul lovers everywhere. 'Ungodly War' was one of the standouts - a dynamic mix of jazz, funk and soul that has stood the test of time, and sounds as good now as when it was recorded 50 years ago. Here, Al Kent edits it slightly for a more beefy sound while on the flip is 'Get Up And Praise The Lord,' a deeper cut which is again taken from the album. The warmth of the rhythm section when paired with the cooing vocal makes for a fine combination.
