London based producer Laurence Guy considers himself in his own words as a "DJ, Producer and purveyor of all things sleazy" and that's totally fine by us. Following up great releases on Church and the B side on that wicked record on Cin Cin recently with Todd Osborn. Now he gives us the Thinking Of You EP on Leipzig's Rose Records where he serves up some dusty, dreamy and emotive deep house such as on the title track with its rusty rhythms and soulful pianos backed by mesmerising chords. But it's "Hutch" on the B side which really does it for us with its hypnotising synth lead and rich synth tapestries backing those orchestral samples which really gets those bittersweet moments of deepness happening.. which we all suckers for!
