Dutch jazz label Release Records originally put out these tunes in 1981. It was the only EP ever dropped by Pure Release and came a year after their On The Loose album - a one and only longer player in 1980. There is little info out there about the band behind the beats but that didn't stop original copies of this 7" changing hands for over 1100 quid. Tambourine Party outta Holland reissue it now and make it affordable to all. 'You've Gotta) Stop, Look & Listen' opens with a slow burins soul number while flip side cut 'I'll Know It's Love For Sure' offers a busier and more upbeat funk sound.
