Brian Eno's first soundtrack collection album! Unreleased material and more! The first collection album of Brian Eno's film and television soundtrack work. This collection contains the most famous and lesser-known songs Eno has created in the last 50 years. Seven of those songs have never been released. Hundreds of Eno's songs have been used in films, documentaries and television. He has also created more than 20 full-length soundtracks for world-renowned directors. Film Music 1976-2020 is a long-awaited collection of 17 of Eno's most celebrated film and television soundtracks and is the ultimate introduction to Eno's vast body of work. Eno's longstanding association with film began in 1970 with the soundtrack to Malcolm Legraith's experimental short film Berlin Horse. He then went on to soundtrack Sebastian in 1976 and the long-forgotten Greek B-horror film The Devil's Village - also known as The Devil's Men - The Sacrifice of the Demon God. This was followed by his own album, Music for Films, which led to Eno's even more energetic approach to film music. Some of Eno's early film scores include "Prophecy Theme" from David Lynch's Dune: Planet of the Sands, "From The Beginning" from Dario Argento's Opera: A Bloodbath, and "Force Marker" from Michael Mann's Heat " and "Late Evening In Jersey," "Under" from Ralph Bakshi's "Cool World," and "You Don't" from Jonathan Demi's "Beloved Mafia," an emotional cover of William Bell's soul classics in Jonathan Demi's "Beloved Mafia. Miss Your Water" and others.
