Kevin Gorman's Adesse Versions project welcomes in a new name, the hitherto unknown LBLL, for a serious dose of disco goodness. "Pressure Cooker" is a feverish edit of a deep cover dig that whips the original material up into an even wilder frenzy to set the dancefloor ablaze. On the flip comes a limber, richly arranged cover of "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" that turns Gil Scott-Heron's incisive diatribe into a sizzling stomper. It's hard to imagine a more perfect way of getting a crowd loosened up and inspired when you want the night to reach an apex of energy.
