Absent since the release of the wonderful Palmbomen II album last spring, Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space label returns and the man himself is fully involved. Over the years, Sweeney has dabbled in edits under various aliases but has never put his name to original productions but that changes with the unveiling of his T & P project with Phil Lauer. A studio session after the pair played Frankfurt's Robert Johnson appears to have been the impetus for these three tracks which commence in thunderous, festival pleasing fashion with A-side burner "Shoot The Freak". Down under, "Luna Park" can be seen as a more subtle, deeper take on the opener and packs some fine bouncy rim shots. The tempo slows even further on closing cut "Garden Of Tears" which is dominated by those dewy eyed vocal smudges and a very "Sweet Dreams" synth refrain.
