Originally released in 1980 on the short-lived but top-quality reggae label Jamaica Sound, this ultra-rare slab of heavyweight sister funk enjoys a rock-solid musical backing including the masterful Sly Dunbar on drums. Jam-packed with amazing cuts, the LP jumps genres from great floor-friendly disco groovers such as the lilting title track and bubbling club favourite ‘Can’t Stop’ through the bass-heavy chugging reggae-infused ‘Whenever You Are Ready’ to the tough, crisply percussive and raw-edged funk of ‘Disco Kid’, ‘I Don’t Need Your Love’ and a fantastically sleazy take on The Salsoul Orchestra’s disco classic ‘Right Size’.
