Roy Ayers, at the height of his career, embarked on his own
Uno Melodic record label. He wrote and produced for an array
of artists including himself on two albums “Silver Vibrations”
and “Drivin’ On Up” (amalgamated as “Lots Of Love”) in 1983.
From these sessions come the boogie dancer “Everybody” and
jazz funk classic “And Then We Were One”, presented here on
7” on original Uno Melodic artwork.
