Quentin Leroy aka Mad Rey is back on Paris' D.Ko imprint, and he's in a particularly soulful groove from the sound of these four house heart-breakers. "La Chapelle (dub mix)" is soothing and jazzy in its tone of voice, and "Hard Ferailleurs" reminds us of Pepe Bradock at his most frantic. The B-side offers the skippy, near garage-like sways of "MSW (dub mix)", and "Impuissance (dub mix)", a deep and explorative journey through spacey house terrains. Excellent stuff!
