Without further ado, new music on MotorCity Wine Recordings from Eddie C feat. Murge. Eddie C is a long time friend of MotorCity Wine, and his debut on the label is long overdue. Eddie’s prolific production and DJ prowess shines bright on this 4 track EP with a track for all the joyful moments. The A-side is uptempo, leading with the effervescent “For The People”— it’s a dose of musical prozac get you dancing wherever you might find yourself. Next Eddie taps in west coast Canadian producer Murge for “Pacific Jam”, a more moody and jazzy affair, with plenty of club bounce. On the B-side Eddie slows down the pace, starting with the midtempo roller “Ama Zone”, an afro-acid-cosmic workout for late nights and sunrises. The release closes with “Dubbing Into Darkness”, a beatdown cut with Eddie’s signature reggae bump to nice up the function.
