Besides a cameo role on Optimo late last year, little is known about Odd Lust beyond the fact that they make some rather fascinating (and handsomely dark) techno. Take 'Planet Is Transparent', a 150 BPM broken drum electro homage that sits closer to drum & bass than it does trad techno. It's backed by the slower, more curmudgeonly electro of the title track before 'Vocation' closes with a tight weave of acid slappage. Odd by name, mesmerising by nature.
