Soulful house legend Timmy Regisford brings his trademark sound to DJ Spen & Thommy Davis’ Quantize Recordings.
‘Falling In Love’ is a sumptuously sizzling heater, marrying Regisford’s classic soul-laden production with Tiger Wilson’s sensuous vocals. Timmy then offers up three mixes to bring a real versatility to the e.p. First up, the ‘Instrumental Mix’ that lets Regisford’s bumping bass, jazzed up piano, swelling strings and spiritual keys do the talking. Secondly, the ‘Alternative Vocal Mix’ switches the percussion of the original opting for more congas, shakers and bongos whilst leaving the claps at bay to give a deeper interpretation of the original. The final mix then drops the vocals of this alternate version completing what is a standout e.p. from Timmy Regisford that captures the essence of 2018’s summer of love.
